Inspiration
My original idea was simply to integrate CyberBrick components into the cyclo and make it controllable and drivable. While researching about cyclo, I came across an old motorized cyclo that immediately caught my attention.

This motorized cyclo (xích lô máy) is a classic Vietnamese three-wheeler that became popular in Saigon around the 1950s–1960s. Based on French three-wheeled utility motorcycles, it kept the front passenger layout of a traditional cyclo but added a small gasoline engine for power. Today, they are rarely seen and are mostly remembered as a unique piece of old Vietnamese transportation history.
I thought it looked incredibly cool, so I changed direction and decided to build my own model inspired by this type of motorized cyclo instead.
This project took me around almost a month from the first model to the finished version, including modeling, printing, testing, and trying several different mechanical solutions.
It was also my first time integrating CyberBrick into one of my 3D-printed models, so there were plenty of new problems to solve along the way.
Thankfully, after a lot of testing and redesigning, everything came together as planned.

About the Design
It has:
- Rear-wheel drive powered by CyberBrick
- Functional two-wheel steering
- Working headlights
- Left and right turn signals
- Hazard lights mode
- Foldable canopy
I also tried to keep the whole model easy to print and assemble, while still leaving room for future upgrades or modifications.
If you build one, feel free to customize the colors, details, or mechanisms and make your own version.
Happy printing!
