TagSafe
LiveA 3D-printed MagSafe base that turns the clothing tags you keep into a swappable phone accessory.

I made TagSafe for ArielCup 03, my first time entering the contest.
Anyone who has bought clothes, shoes or a new fashion item has met those tags: some are designed so well you can't bring yourself to throw them away. You keep them, thinking "maybe I'll use it someday", and most end up in a drawer and get forgotten.
So I asked myself: why not turn these tags into a phone accessory?
TagSafe is a 3D-printed MagSafe base that holds a fashion tag on the back of an iPhone. It could be a local brand, a brand you love, or just a tag with a good design. Each one gives the accessory a completely different look.
Why I like it
What I like most is that there is no fixed version. You can swap the tag whenever it suits your outfit, taste or mood. It's a very simple design that ends up very personal.
It's also a small way to cut waste. TagSafe reuses something people normally throw away after a purchase, so it doesn't become trash or sit in a drawer forever.
My goal was to keep the design simple, easy to 3D print, easy to assemble and easy to customize, so a very small object can say a bit more about whoever uses it.
